Queer With a Clue

Toronto's annual Pride parade was hijacked last year by the Lefty/'Slamists and their in-your-face Zionhass. As a result of the controvery, reports Kenyon Wallace in the National Post, Pride Toronto "is seeking public input on the involvement of political organizations in the parade..."--a reference to what may well be the most bonkers and self-defeating Lefty organization in existence: "Queers for Palestine."

The most heartening aspect of the article is the revelation that not everyone in the Queer community is a clueless, knee-jerk Israel-loather. One chap named Martin Gladstone, in fact, actually "gets it":
...Martin Gladstone, a spokesman for Citizens Reclaiming Our Pride, a grass-roots organization that touts itself as committed to ensuring that Toronto Pride complies with its charter and mandate, says the inclusion of a group that brands Israel as an apartheid state creates a hateful and exclusionary environment.
"It has nothing to do with gay rights, it doesn't advance gay pride in the city of Toronto and it does nothing for the healthy fabric of a multicultural city," he said. "Any groups that would be singled out and demonized in a public parade ... would feel the same way."
Exactamundo. I nominate Martin Gladstone to be Canada's rep at the UNHRC.
