Saudi 'Charity' Blows Hot and Cold

When it comes to sharing Islam with the world via funding for mosques, madrassahs, foundations of former American presidents and Middle East studies programs at Western universities, Saudi Arabia is second to none. When it comes to helping out with Haitain earthquake relief, however, the richer-than-Croesus Wahhabis suddenly become the world's biggest pinchpennies.

That 'generosity'--and miserliness--speaks volumes, I'd say.
