R.I.P Dixie

Back in the day--the day before jihad was on my GPS and I was of the leftish persuasion--I used to enjoy watching TV's "Designing Women." And I used to enjoy it mostly for that moment in virtually every episode when Dixie Carter, playing a decorator with the shortest of fuses (clearly, not a helpful trait in her line of work), would erupt at the fool or fools who had dared to piss her off.

In homage to Dixie Carter, who has died at the age of 70, I offer this, my favourite Julia Sugarbaker rant.
