The Feds Vs. the Supremes

The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that keeping Omar Khadr in Gitmo is a violation of his civil rights, and has ordered the government to figure out how to remedy the violation, giving the feds a week to come up with an acceptable plan (which, really, amounts to the court ordering the government to bring Omar "home"). The government, which, all things considered, would prefer that Khadr be tried by the country he allegedy wronged, has balked at the order and is appealing the ruling.

Who will prevail--the government or the court? Stay tuned to see how this power struggle plays out.
