Just because I'm feeling in a generous mood (must be because of the New Year), I am offering my communications expertise--gratis--to both Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and Pastor Terry Jones.
Imam--if you want to ingratiate yourself with kafirs (or "interfaith outreach," as you'd put it) and persuade them to swallow your law inch by inch, bit by bit, it's probably not a good idea to piss them off by building your, ahem, Islamic community center in the Ground Zero area.
Pastor--if you want to publicize the bad stuff in the Koran, it's probably not a good idea to burn one, since all you end up doing is eliciting sympathy for the book and its followers.
