I've heard this meme about liberal arts being the salvation of mankind for way too long. Widespread education in liberal arts sure didn't do anything to ward off the rise of the Third Reich in Germany. And it certainly won't have any impact in a Muslim country. At least, no positive impact.
Looks like the promoters of "liberal arts" are shilling for the preservation and enhancement of their own economic jobs.
Now if we could convert some of these miscreants-to-be to Christianity, that could work. But that isn't something our government is equipped to do.
