The main goals are to raise awareness about Israeli apartheid and the denial of Palestinian rights, to educate people about apartheid as a system of oppression, and promote the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign"

Those pearls of wisdom spring from the mind and mouth of Ms. Bilan Arte, activist, spunky student organizer of Zionhass Week at the Univeristy of Manitoba, and now president-elect of that august institiution's student union. Since a scant 7.3% of those eligible to cast a ballot bothered to do so, it appears that, in Bilan, the listless student body got exactly what it deserved.
