Planes, Hogs and Automobiles--and No One Complained About the Humongous Carbon Footprint?

Some "stars" turn out in Connecticut to raise funds for Obama's re-election campaign; much carbon is expended in the process:
When finally the presidential motorcade came through, it was certainly impressive, with a cluster of motorcycles revving their engines preceding the president’s car which was marked with a small gold Presidential seal, and several cars in the rear, two of which carried a cluster of SWAT team members clad in camouflage with highly visible and menacing weaponry.

Obama left Westport around 9 p.m. nestled in a phalange of five helicopters which swept him out of town to Kennedy airport, where the Presidential plane awaited him. If all went according to plan, the visit will net the Presidential campaign roughly $2 million.
No word of how much it cost for all the transportation (hogs, cars, helicopters, airplanes) that took part in the visit.
