You See That Guy? That Guy's a Great Big Schmoe

Here's Part 2 of Mark Steyn's tribute to lyricist Hal David. And here's my parody of Hal's lyrics with a nod to this week's shenanigans in Charlotte:

You see that guy?
That guy is out of juice.
Yes, that's the guy
Who's light and lithe and lost and loose.
Silly goose.
Don't they know
It's time to kick his thin caboose?
The country's owin'.
That guy he must be goin'.
We've heard his talk about how things are fine.
He talks and talks and says that spending is divine.

What yours is his; what's yours is mine.
It's so communal.
You know his tune'll grab 'em.
'Cuz he needs your dough.
He wants your dough.
Give him your dough--
Say "yes," not "no"!
