R.I.P Van Cliburn

The piano virtuoso died today. Here he is playing one of my favorite concertos:

The Russian Romantic composers are a world unto themselves, and no one interpreted them better than Van Cliburn. Sadly, his touch with other genres was never quite as deft, but who cares, I could listen to Van Cliburn play Rachmaninoff until all the cows in Texas come home... :)
