Zion-Loathing Pair Being Held in Egypt "Courageous"? How So, Jon?

It's been several day now and I still can't wrap my head around the NatPo's Jonathan Kay calling kooky Israel-loathers John Greyson and Tarek Loubani, currently cooling their heels in a Cairo jail, "courageous."

I can see how Greyson's Queers Against Israeli Apartheid compadres (and those who share their mindset) might so describe him. But since the pair chose to insert themselves into a war zone en route to Hamas-controlled Gaza, where they planned to whip up some more calumnies and canards about the one tiny dot of functionality in an sea of savagery, tyranny and dysfunction, "courageous" is just about the last word I'd affix to their antics.

Foolhardy, ignorant, arrogant, idiotic and suffused with the sort of Zionhass that ruins your brain (and compels you to make terrible choices): for sure. "Courageous"? No way, J. Kay!
