A Thorny Query for the Toronto Star's "Ethics" Dear Abby: Is It Okay for a "Trangendered" Person to Ogle My Nekkidness in a Ladies' Change Room?

Here's the question in full:
I am a senior woman. Recently, a “man” claiming to be transgender, who had not yet begun physical treatments, was permitted by our local Y to use the women’s locker room. There are no secure change rooms. The person they allowed in was not courteous and stared at me while I struggled out of a wet bathing suit. He was naked, had an erection and playfully asked ‘do you come here often?’ I understand that gender is no longer judged solely by genitalia, but does a brief contact with the duty manager mean that men not yet committed to gender reassignment are free to disrobe anywhere they choose?
Ken Gallinger, the Star's "ethics" columnist, responds that such behavior is, in a word, unacceptable. At the same time, however, he says that "from a human rights perspective, a transgender woman is a woman, full stop."

Not so fast there, Ken. What if the individual in question is really nothing more than a perv who claims to be transgendered so he can get to see chicks nekkid?

Isn't the arousal of a "transgender woman, full stop" at such a sight a clue that the purported transgenderdom may be something of a scam?

Not that one expects an "ethics" expert with the most politically correct newspaper in Canada to pose such, ahem, unacceptable questions.
