TIKKUN OLAM GARAGE SALE
Temple Kol Ami holds a garage sale to benefit orphans in Zimbabwe...Wow, that is very tikkun olamish. How'd they ever come up with Zimbabwe?
Don't tell me, lemme guess: they threw a dart at a map of the world and that's where it landed. (This garage sale calls to mind the efforts of Mrs. Jellyby, the tikkun olamish character in Dickens' Bleak House.)
