Will Fact Ever Displace Anti-Israel Fiction?

I doubt it. The fiction, irrational though most of it is, serves a definite purpose and a specific narrative.

To quote the words of a progressive who had fallen for the fiction hook, line and stinker (and, no, that's not a typo), and who was determined to hold onto it no matter what: "Don't confuse me with the facts."

In my experience, relaying the facts usually won't achieve the ends you seek (i.e. setting people straight; getting them to see reality). The fact is that most people will believe what they want to believe--what they need to believe--and won't be dissuaded by fact.
